With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Steven McKnight of Dry Prong, Louisiana, who passed away on July 22, 2023 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Bill "Mac" McKnight and Ethel McKnight. He is survived by : his wife Karen Cumpton McKnight; his brothers, William David McKnight (Carolena Olson) and Greg McKnight; his parents-in-law, Betty Cumpton and Scotty Cumpton (Faye); his brother-in-law David Cumpton (Regina); his nieces, Sarah McKnight, Sela McKnight and Cara Cumpton; his pet Jolie; and also Trey Bradford.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Jude's Children's Reasearch Hospital.
