He was predeceased by: his parent Violee Bagwell (Broughton); his wife Nelda Bagwell (Delony); his grandparents, Robert J., Clarissa Bagwell, Ed and Anise Broughton; his father Curtis B. Bagwell; his sister Ilah B. Bagwell; his great-nephew Cody A. Britt; and his great-niece Alyse Britt.
He is survived by: his son Gwin Edwards (Mary); his grandson Matthew Hipple (Holly); his great grandchild Hannah Hipple; his brother Mervin Bagwell (Rhonda); and his nieces, Melanie Britt (Ronnie), Tonya Bagwell (Jim Billington) and Alison Bagwell.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (6476 LA-151, Dubach, LA 71235). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to 'Fellowship Baptist Senior Home Fund for aid in purchasing materials for those in the area in need of home repairs or modifications to assist with their mobility.
