He was predeceased by: his mother Rosemary Verrett Scott; and his grandparents, John Verrett, Eva Verrett, Frank Scott Jr., Azelia Maria and Verret Scott.
He is survived by: his son Kane; his father Nelson Sr. of Dulac; his siblings, Sally Scott of Thibodaux, Suzanne Miller (Quintel) of Berwick and David Scott (Brooke) of Morgan City; his nieces and nephews, Bryson, Shaylen, A'Monta, A'Miya, Jeremy, Nevaeh, Kayron, Norah, Madalyn, Micah, Enzo, Kayda and Quintel Jr.; his great-niece Aria; and his great-nephews, Ezra and Karter.
