He is survived by: his daughter Shylynn Elizabeth Romero of Lafayette; his father Walter Romero; his siblings, Megan Medina of Colorado and Aliska Romero of Broussard; his siblings' children, Coby Bergeron, Chase Bergeron, Cyngine Medina, Bowen Medina and Heaven Medina; and his godchild Taylor Rochelle.
