He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Benoit and Delta Angeron Benoit; his wife Paula Kidder Benoit; his sister Linda Guillory; and his great-niece Zoie Schexnayder.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jane Veazey, Pamela LeBlanc, Paulette Hoffpauir and Jimmy Veazey (Donna); and his nieces and nephews, Chris LeBlanc, Kellie LeBlanc, Dustin LeBlanc, Scott LeBlanc, Casey Hoffpauir, Christy Hoffpauir, Corey Hoffpauir, Cammy Dupre, Caley Conklin, James Veazey, Jennifer Lasseigne, Brandy Black, Troilyn Cawyer, Chastity Schexnayder and Chad Doucet.
