Benoit, Sr.; her parents, Fernest Zeno and Adele Zeno; her siblings, Oren (Eula), Norris, Joseph (Mary), Jeffrey (Joyce), Paul, Lorena Zeno and Mary Louise Zeno; her siblings-in-law, Andrus Benoit, Burnis Benoit (Rita), Louella Mouton (Antoine) and Marjorie Zeno; and her son-in-law Billy Reese.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Benoit, Jr. (Regina) of Mesquite, TX, Adeline Benoit Reese of Houston, TX, Gwendolyn Zeno of Houston, TX, Monica Benoit Rubin (Francis) of Lafayette, LA and Stephanie Benoit Arvie (Robert) of West Monroe, LA; her grandchildren, Desiree Zeno-Drew, Gerren Benoit, Jordan Lewis, Brielle Benoit, Jamila Benoit, Malijah Rubin and Symphanie Arvie; her great grandchildren, Kamree Ware, Elliot Benoit and Jeremiah; her brother Voorhies Zeno (Laura) of Lafayette, LA; and her goddaughters, Yolanda Senegal and Elizabeth Broussard. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Benedict de Moor Catholic Church (9135 Cameron St, Duson, LA 70529). A rosary will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
