He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie L. Voorhies, Sr. and Helen Meda Domite; his stepfather Anthony J. Domite, Sr.; his siblings, Linda Carolyn Voorhies, Antoinette Domite Guillot and Anthony J. Domite, Jr.; and his brother-in-law John Guidry.
He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth A. Domite; and his sibling's children, Stephen Guidry, John Douglas Guidry, Curnest Guillot, Jr., Shane Guillot, Paula Domite Guillot, Christine Domite Maddox and Laurie Domite Bordelon.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church - Fifth Ward (315 Egg Bend Rd., Fifth Ward, LA 71351). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Francis DeSales Cemetery - Echo (104 Echo St, Echo, LA 71330).
