Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bertha Jean Louis of Edgard, Louisiana, who passed away at the age of 79, on August 30, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, Leo Paul Louis and Elnora Jones Louis of Edgard, LA.; her son Jerome Sr.; her siblings, Joseph, Isaac, Llyod, Felma, Myrtle and Donna Lumar; her daughter-in-law Molly; and her siblings-in-law, Geraldine, Patricia, Mary Lee and Walter Lumar.

She is survived by : her children, Pamela Lewis (Jacob), Leonard Lewis (Chloe) and Nedra Johnson (Danielle); her grandchildren, Jerome, Jr., Donavon, La'Ron, Yasmine, Destiny and Langston; her siblings, Wilson (Gloria), Lovenia Ross (Walter), Rosetta, James (Francis), Gilbert, Norman, Solomon and Delores (Thomas); her friend Bertha; and also, Jacob Valentine and Labarrin Louis. She is also survived by relatives, friends, her devoted caregiver.
