It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanne Fabiola Louis (Edgard, Louisiana), who passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Lagrange and Freddie Lagrange; her husband Altis Louis Sr.; her daughter Lisa Louis Rousell; her siblings, Rev. Allen Lagrange and Margaret Lay; and her sisters-in-law, Viola Louis, Irma Lagrange, Cerelia Stipe, Helen Washington and Gloria Sloan.
She is survived by: her children, Altis June Louis Jr. (Jackie), Lawrence Lewis (Tammy), Madeline (Wardell), Mary Dumas (Leo), Alana Burke (Alvin), Curtis Louis (Heidi), Sarah Boudoin and Denise Louis. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
