She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Gauthier Adams (Isabella Martha) and Abraham Adams Sr. of Wallace, Louisiana.; her aunts, Josephine Adams and Malvina Adams; her siblings, Rosemary Adams Johnson, Abraham Adams Jr., Therold Adams (Chris), Raymond Adams, Donald Adams, Beverly Gauthier Williams, Barbara Gauthier and Renaldo Gauthier; and her siblings-in-law, Rudy Sylvain, Maxine Sylvain, Edna Jean Sylvain and Rose Marie Adams.
She is survived by: her husband Warner A. Sylvain; her children, Vincent Sylvain, Ingrid Oubre (Davis), Margo Lumar (Helmond), Joannie Sylvain, Tamera Sylvain, Stacey Cador (Timithoy), Jill Martin (Jeffrey), Joy Major (Bobby), Kerri Brooks (Duane) and Kelly Sylvain; her brother Kebin Adams; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Sylvain (Barbara), Robert Sylvain (Dora), Donald Sylvain, Michael Sylvain and Audrey Sylvain. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great- grandchildren, and five great- great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (2349 LA-18, Edgard, LA 70049). A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
