He was predeceased by: his parents, Selma Taylor and Betty Smith Taylor; and his siblings, Elizabeth Taylor, Connie Stutes, Rina "Mae" Newman, Tammy Carpenter, Jimmy Taylor, Leroy Taylor, John Taylor and James Taylor.
He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Mahaffey of Mt. Olive, MS, Janet Taylor of Oak Grove, LA, Betty Gaspard (Chantz) of Effie, LA, Kathleen "Naomi" Taylor of Effie, LA, Leanne "Versie" (Larry Paul) of Effie, LA and Jay Taylor of St. Gabriel, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
