She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gibson and Jimmie Gibson. She is survived by: her husband Curtis Gassiott; her stepchildren, Jordy Gassiott and Tessa Goleman (Lynn); and her brother Charles "Chuck" Gibson. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; two great nieces; one great nephew; and one great-great nephew.
