She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Ray Lewis; her parents, John Edgar and Ida Lee Turnage; and her siblings, James "Jimmy" Turnage and Barbara "Bobbie" Bass.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Smith (Eric) of Elmer and Sonya Renae Melder (Brian) of Elmer; her sister Patricia "Patsy" Weatherford of Union Hill; her grandchildren, Erica Richerson (Lewis), Courtney Ball (Jason), Jesse Colton Melder (Lauren) and Kenneth Cade Melder; and her great grandchildren, Dalton Richerson, Carlie Jo Lindsay, Jaylynn Ball, Anna Richerson, David Richerson, Jacob Ball, Ella Richerson and Tilly Josephine Melder.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 11:59 PM and on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the St. Peters Catholic Church (6684 LA-112, Elmer, LA 71424). A Mass will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
