With solemn reverence, we commemorate Velma Cloud (Elmer, Louisiana), whose life came to an end on April 13, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave NesSmith and Gladys NesSmith; her husbands, Carl Banks and Jimmy Cloud; her brothers, Larry NesSmith and LeRoy NesSmith; and her sister-in-law Lois NesSmith.
She is survived by: her son Kevin Banks of Glenmora; her siblings, Otto "Toe" NesSmith of Calcasieu, Belvia "Boo" Halbert of Calcasieu and Savannah "Wissie" Carruth of Forest Hill; and her close friend Jack Johnson of Glenmora.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (763 Elmer Rd, Elmer, LA 71424). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
