He is survived by: his son Josh Tarver; his granddaughter Avery Tarver; his sisters, Carolyn Smith (Charlie), Margie Perritt (Earl), Linda Runions (Mike Starks) and Dot White (Roger); and his aunt Shirley Jones. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Home (724 Broadway St, Delhi, LA 71232). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
