He is survived by: his wife Shirley Coleman Gibson; his children, Felicia Tweedle (Ashley), Brandy Malone (Jerry) and Nick Gibson (Mandy); his grandchildren, Grahm Tweedle, Rylee Gibson, Dalton Malone, Landry Tweedle, John Thomas Gibson, Hallie Grace Malone and Kade Gibson; and his siblings, Jimmy Gibson (Kathleen), Carolyn Colwell (Mike) and Ray Goings.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Epps Baptist Church (4207 LA-134, Epps, LA 71237). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
