He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cecil Starks and Ozie Morrow Starks; his son Mark Starks; and his siblings, J. C. Starks and Lee Wayne Starks.
He is survived by: his children, Shane Starks (Paula) and Felicia; and his grandson Tyler Starks (Skyler).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Homes - Delhi Chapel (724 Broadway St, Delhi, LA 71232). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Walnut Grove Baptist Church (6416 LA-134, Pioneer, LA 71266).
