He was predeceased by : his wife Gloria Benoit; his parents, Wilson Benoit and Annie Mae Romero Benoit of Erath; his daughter Roxane Benoit Morvant of Erath; and his siblings, Wilson "Pete" Benoit Jr., Ruby Falgout and Annie Bell Benoit.
He is survived by : his son Ryan Benoit (Annette) of Abbeville; his grandchildren, Miranda (Eric Landry) of Erath and Matthew Morvant of Erath; his siblings, Verna Benoit of Abbeville, Mary Arceneaux (Mark) of Delcambre, Linda Landry (Keith) of Erath, Clara Benoit of Delcambre, Janet Vincent (Ronald) of Abbeville, Nancy Broussard (Randy Landry) of Coteau, Diane Trahan of Erath, Helen Viator of Erath and Larry Benoit (Deborah) of Erath; his brother-in-law Dave Falgout of Delcambre; his son-in-law David Morvant; and his great grandchildren, Kyler Dupuis, Emsley Landry and Sophia Landry.
