She was predeceased by: her son Kevin Miller; her parents, Dudly Joseph Sonnier and Olive Sonnier; her siblings, Mary Fontenot, Wilson "Dago" Sonnier, Dennis Sonnier Sr., Janet Cheramie and Louella Sonnier; and her nephew Charles "Bozo" Cheramie.

She is survived by: her husband Elwood Bourque; her children, Monia Bonin of New Iberia, Robert Miller of Franklin and Travis Bourque of New Iberia; her stepson Joshua Sonnier; her grandchildren, Kyle Bonin, Courtney Bonin, Jacoby Fino, Kylie Fino, Joseph Sonnier and Tate Foco; and her sisters, Dianne Sonnier of Parks and Joyce Sonnier of New Iberia. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
