We announce the death of Deborah Bourque Romero of Erath, Louisiana, born in Abbeville, Louisiana. She was predeceased by: her husband Early Joseph Romero; her daughter Tarasia "Tiger" Romero; her parents, Louella "Moma Lou" Delcambre Bourque and Rivers (Paul Bourque); and her siblings, Corey Bourque and Colleen Ladnier.
She is survived by: her children, Deithra Romero of Erath and Tandria Romero of Erath; her grandchildren, Kandice Campbell (Dannon), Brylan Gary (Jaci), Kiahanna Thibodeaux (Trae), Bryton Gary (Brittany), Braylon Gary (Shelbi) and Braxton Gary; her great grandchildren, Owen, Gracin, Kaston, Grantley, Hudson, Bentley, Emmalynn, Karter and Parker; and her godchildren, Janice Clever, Nikara James, Kegan James and Brent Romero. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, August 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cypress Funeral Home (206 W Lafayette St, Maurice, LA 70555).
