He is survived by: his wife Deborah Bourque Romero of Erath; his children, Deithra Romero of Erath and Tandria Romero of Erath; his grandchildren, Kandice Campbell (Dannon), Brylan Gary (Jaci), Kiahanna Thibodeaux (Trae), Bryton Gary (Brittany), Braylon Gary (Shelbi) and Braxton Gary; his great grandchildren, Owen, Gracin, Kaston, Grantley, Hudson, Bentley, Emmalynn, Karter and Parker; and his sisters, Elaine Stephens of Vidor, Texas, Kathy Lewis of Vidor, Texas, Melinda Faulk of Vidor, Texas, Judy Richard (Harold) of Church Point and Janice Clever (John) of Maurice. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Cypress Funeral Home & Crematory (206 W Lafayette St, Maurice, LA 70555).
