He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alton Menard and Carrie Ann Menard; and his father-in-law David Broussard (Ellen). He is survived by: his wife Darlene "Sissy" Menard; his children, Sadie Menard Suire (Shane Suire) of Erath, Amy Menard Courvelle of Lafayette, Erica Menard Racca (Kevin Racca) of Erath and Trent Menard (Callie Hulin Menard) of Erath; his grandchildren, Sage Suire, Adalyn Racca, Ella Racca, Ava Racca, Asher Menard and Walker Menard; his sister Connie Menard Mason (Wayne Mason) of Erath; his godchild Stacey Mason; his nephew Jarad Mason (Kim); his mother-in-law Brenda Broussard; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Nerran and Dave Broussard (Kellie Broussard).
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (700 S Broadway St, Erath, LA 70533). A rosary was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
