He is survived by: his wife Jane Anne Short Watson; his children, Matthew Watson, Sr. (Brandie) and Ammie (Lane Mckenzie); his sister Rosemary (Mike Randolph); his grandchildren, Augden Watson, Corbin Watson, Saige McKenzie and McKenzie Lovett; and his brothers, Bill and Donnie.
