She is survived by: her children, Scotty Bailey, Bryan Fontenot (Danielle), Havun Fontenot (Tara), Kaylum Fontenot (Stephanie), Ashton Fontenot (Destiny), Shelly Fontenot, Tatum Fruge (Jeff) and Lensey Fontenot; and her brother Donald Smith (Clara). She is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
