He is survived by: his wife Kay Ardoin; his children, Yvette Monteleon of Lafayette, LA and Leonard Ardoin of Maui; and his stepchildren, Lance Mayfield (Jen) of Florence, CO, Damon Mayfield (Cristi) of Florence, CO and Jodi Biggar (Shawn) of Fredericksburg, Virginia. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
