He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzia Thibodeaux (Isbell Miller) and Eunice; his son Nathan Thibodeaux; his siblings, Elvie Thibodeaux, John Thibodeaux, Darell Thibodeaux, Easton Thibodeaux and Etta Jane Fontenot; and his brothers-in-law, Roland B. Fontenot and P. L. Fontenot.
He is survived by: his sons, Roderick Thibodeaux, Greg Thibodeaux and Kevin Thibodeaux; and his siblings, W. Gene Thibodeaux, Ronald Thibodeaux and Dorothy Fontenot. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
