She was predeceased by: her parents, Antoine Guidry and Louise Guidry; her husband Elward Deshotels; her son Craig Deshotels; her grandson Garret Deshotels; and her siblings, Sydney Guidry, Joseph Guidry, Hazel Aguillard and Inez Schmitt.
She is survived by: her nieces, Charlene Benoit of Carencro, Margaret Ardoin of Basile and Karen Rougeau of Eunice; her stepchildren, Sonya Deshotels and Elward Deshotels, Jr. of Mamou; her nephews, Roddy Aguillard of Cameron and Glenn Aguillard of Mamou; her granddaughter Kaitlyn Fontenot of Wyoming; and her sister Elsie Prather of Jennings. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
