He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Fontenot and Daniel Fruge; his son Jeffery Fruge; his granddaughter Kyra Fruge; and his sister Janet Dubea.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Lafleur Fruge; his children, Jonas Fruge (Brandie) of Carencro, Rachael Fruge Habetz (Blaine) of Lafayette, Eric Fruge (Marybeth) of Carencro, Elliott Fruge (Sarah) of Ball and Joshua Fruge (Kaitlin) of Eunice; his grandchildren, Aaron Bihm (Danielle), Bryce Trahan, Sarah Darbonne, Cade Fruge, Andrew Fruge, Kaden Lafleur, Lauren Fruge, Brantley Fruge, Cayleigh Fruge, Anna Fruge, Allison Fruge, Grayson Fruge and Ella Fruge; his siblings, Wayne Fruge, Sherry Guillory, Jackie Fruge and Catherine Carrier; his uncle Huey Fontenot; and his aunt Gwen Fontenot. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
