She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacque Arabie and Zula Mae Arabie; her husband Harrison Prather; her son Dennis Wayne Prather; and her sister Dorothy Arabie.
She is survived by: her son Steven Prather of Gonzales; her granddaughter Nona Mayes (Daniel) of Plano, Texas; and her siblings, Tony Arabie (Robin) of Panama City, Florida, Don Arabie of Pineville, Loretta Horton (Mike) of Anacoco, Smokey Arabie of Eunice and Lula Leger of Eunice.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (1301 W Laurel Ave, Eunice, LA 70535). A rosary was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (310 W Vine Ave, Eunice, LA 70535). A burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (3979 U. S. Hwy 190, Eunice, LA 70535).
