He was predeceased by: his parents, Polite Francois and Margaret Francois; his siblings, Ernest, Harold, Irvin, Alvin, Thelma Phillips and Lillie Hogan; his siblings-in-law, Elouise Francois, Josie Franklin Francois, Hazel Francois, Alverez Phillips, Robert Hogan, Sr., Thomas Washington and Walter Chase, III; and his nephews, Kenneth, Robert Hogan, Irvin Renard Francois and Thomas Emanuel Washington.
He is survived by: his wife Ardessie Chase Francois (Eunice); his children, Margaret Clare Francois of Atlanta, GA, Doretha Marie Leday Jackson of Shreveport, LA, Angela Camille (Allen), Lee of Lafayette, LA and Edward Ned Francois, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; and his brother-in-law Horace Chase (Paula).
