He is survived by: his children, Michael Reed (Ronda) of Eunice, Jaime Reed (Katie) of Basile, Simon, Taylor Reed of Basile, Crystal Reed Echols (Thomas) of Basile and Tiffany Reed Eschete (Billy) of Houma; his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Abbigail, Bailey, Kelsey, Gavin, Mason, Kristen, Kali, Zane, Landon, Wesli, Aubri, Koltyn and Kohen; and his great grandchildren, Vivian, Kenneth, Owen, Olivier and Carson.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel (1301 W Laurel Ave, Eunice, LA 70535). A rosary was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine Church (2717 Dr Bobby Deshotel Ave, Basile, LA 70515).
