She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugee Fontenot and Eva Fontenot; her husband Elvy Thibodeaux; and her siblings, Bee, Burkman, Rayford, Tony, Dale Fontenot, Hazel Higginbotham and Helena Herbert.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Andrew Thibodeaux of Lafayette, Sheila Thibodeaux Lane (Buddy) of Eunice and Belinda Thibodeaux Broussard (Gib) of Youngsville; her grandchildren, Hope Francis (Terry) of Brighton, Jeffery Lane (Lyndsey) of New Iberia and Donovan Thibodeaux (Hollyn) of Prairieville; her great grandchildren, Brianna Francis Enos (Jake) of Colorado Springs, Ashton Francis of Brighton, Owen Thibodeaux of Prairieville, Jackson Lane of New Iberia and Jennifer Lane of New Iberia; and her great great grandchild Luna Enos of Colorado Springs.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Calendar Ardoin's Funeral Home (1301 W Laurel Ave, Eunice, LA 70535). A prayer will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar St. Thomas More Catholic Church (1011 Sittig St, Eunice, LA 70535).
