She was predeceased by: her husband Zenon Patrick Fontenot; her parents, Howard Chaumont and Helen Fontenot Chaumont; and her brother Alton Chaumont. She is survived by: her children, Brent Fontenot (Sandra), Daniel Fontenot, Angie Wadington and Carlissa Dilick; her sister Antoinette Richard (James); her grandchildren, Adrienne Boal (Matt), Allison Chamberlin (Barry), Alyssa Moore (Ross), Stuart Fontenot, Breanne Wells (Kevin), Grant Wadlington, Trent Wadlington, Anne-Marie Pierret (Tyler), Ian Dilick and Abby Dilick; and her great grandchildren, Quinn Chamberlin, Collin Chamberlin, Audrey Watkins, Jacques Watkins, Leopold Pierret, Mary-Frances Pierret and Gus Wells.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (2717 Dr Bobby Deshotel Ave, Basile, LA 70515). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
