It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hayward Johnwell of Eunice, Louisiana, who passed away on June 1, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Horace "Leelee" Johnwell, Mary and Susan Johnwell. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Johnwell of Eunice; his daughter Kimberly Johnwell of Los Angeles, CA; his stepdaughter Dinah Hixon (Steven) of Kenner; his siblings, Harry Johnwell of Eunice, Lawrence Johnwell of Eunice, Jerry Miller (Judy) of Eunice, Patricia Davis of Inglewood, CA, Linda Jones of Eunice, Genora Goodly of Eunice, Jeanella Ardoin (Paul) of Eunice, Karen Johnwell of Ontario, CA, Alice Johnwell (Kevin Gasper) of Port Arthur, TX and Nicole Johnwell (Charles) of Moreno Valley, CA; his grandchildren, Hayley Simmons and Kaitlyn Lloyd; and his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Haynes, Skyy Haynes and Victoria Haynes. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
