He was predeceased by: his parents, Atney Bertrand and Rose Fruge Bertrand; his sister Joan Shaw; and his niece Leslie Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Diana Reed Bertrand of Eunice; his children, Donnie Bertrand (Tina) of Eunice, Eddie Bertrand (Brittany) of Rayne and Connie L. Bertrand of Eunice; his sisters, Janet Williams (John) of Baton Rouge and Sandy Miller (Robert) of Basile; and his grandchildren, Kade, Primrose Bertrand, Anna, Alex Bielstein, Kiersten and Braiden Bertrand.
