She was predeceased by : her husband Delano "Del" Marcantel; her daughter Mechelle Marcantel Fontenot; and her mother Mary Haney Birdwell. She is survived by : her children, Thomas Marcantel of Woodworth, Rachel Marcantel of Eunice and Susan Marcantel of Mamou. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.
