He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Fruge and Adia Ashford Fruge. He is survived by: his wife Sally Bidstrup Fruge; his children, Marion "Mac" Fruge, Jr. (Cathy), Fred Fruge (Richlyn), Chris Fruge (Virginia), Anna Mosbroker (Daly) and Charese Fruge; his grandchildren, Andrew, Andrea', Jacque (Layne), Vivian, Drake, Krystian, Chase, John Hansen, Laura, Kate, Mark and Anna Grace; and his great grandchildren, Wells, Jack, Ana, River and Ella.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Quirk & Son Funeral Home - Eunice (121 S 6th St, Eunice, LA 70535). A rosary will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (310 W Vine Ave, Eunice, LA 70535).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either Eunice High School athletics or St. Edmund High School athletics in honor of Coach Fruge.
