She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoover Watson and Virginia McClelland Watson; and her brother John Robert "Butch" Watson, Sr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Glen H. Watson (Brenda) and Sarah Michot; her nephew Robbie Watson (Tammy Luke-Watson); and her nieces, Cindy Richey (Greg), Billie Ellis, Shasta Watson and Tammy Thibodeaux (Donnie). She is also survived by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church youth fund.
