He was predeceased by : his parents, Vincent McCauley and Mary Dean O'Pry McCauley; his daughters, Mandy McCauley and Katie McCauley; and his stepson Cary Pellican.

He is survived by : his wife Rebecca McCauley of Eunice; his son Rickey McCauley Jr. (Bridget) of Richard; his stepchildren, Damon Pellican (Angela) of Las Vegas, Melanie Pellican (Lucas Cormier) of Lanse Meg, Ryan Pellican of Scott and Stephanie Smith of Eunice; his sister Bernadine Edwards (Danny) of Eunice; and his great grandchildren, Rylie and Remmi Veillon. He is also survived by his extended family and dear friends.
