He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bellard and Viola Bellard; his wife Debra Bellard; and his siblings, Bonnie Orebo, Cleveland Bellard, Walter Bellard, Jr. and Willis Bellard, Sr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Phyllis Shaw (Prentis) of Killeen, TX and Suzanne Bellard (Lee) of Lafayette, LA; his brothers, Wilfred Bellard and Michael Bellard of Eunice, LA.; and his grandchildren, Keeasha Shaw Washington, Keeana Shaw Kennedy, Darius Bellard, Daleah Bellard, Travon Savoy and Lee Robert Savoy, III. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.
