It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Ray (Farmerville, Louisiana), who passed away on June 3, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Sidney Ray; her parents, Harvey Thomas and Gladys Stripling Thomas; and her brothers, Harvey "Bubba" Thomas and Wayne "Snout" Thomas.

She is survived by : her daughter Angie Pilgreen; her grandchildren, Stephanie Corbin (Blake), Raeann Pilgreen (Skylar) and Jeffrey; her great grandchildren, McKenzie Hicks and Sidney Corbin; her siblings, Diane Hanson (Freddie), Elizabeth "Sis" Bearden (Buddy) and David Thomas (Becky); her son Jeff Ray (Barbie); her granddaughter Chloe; and her friends, Anita Diel and Nick Boyette.
