She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Van Houton and Lydia Augusta Kolterman Dodds; her husband Dewey Fredrick Weaver, Sr.; her siblings, James Milton Dodds and Betty Jane Dodds; her son-in-law Randall Singler Twist (Randy); and her great grandchild Dewey Fredrick Weaver, IV.

She is survived by: her children, Dewey Fredrick Weaver, Jr. (Julie), Diane Weaver Twist, Douglas Dodds Weaver and Nanette Weaver Cummings (George); her close friends, Nannette Flowers and Patricia Burnley; and her caregivers, Cheryl Tillman, Lisa Coleman, Patricia Mitchell, Latonda Finister and Joann Badger. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, Grandma to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Clara's family requests memorial donations be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1901 Milton Street, Monroe, LA 71201.
