He was predeceased by : his parents, Marjorie Loper Wade and James S. Wade. He is survived by : his wife Claudia Beatriz Wade; his brothers, Dr. James Wade (Beryl) of Lafayette and Philip Wade (Carol) of Bossier City; his nieces and nephews, Meredith Thibodeaux (Jared), Mark Wade (Katie), JP Wade, Regan Elizabeth Peatross (Jarred), Allyson Merie Wade and Collin Catherine Mumtac (Kash); and his granddaughters, Taylor Brewer and Freya Wade.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Farmerville, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church of Farmerville, or Union General Foundation.
