He was predeceased by: his parents, Simmie Whitman and Alverne Whitman of Choudrant; and his siblings, Mary Ann Whitman Smalling, Margaret Whitman Kalil and James Whitman.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Whitman; his son Matthew; his daughter-in-law Danica Whitman of Tulsa, OK; his daughter Hannah Whitman; and his grandchildren, Lenora Whitman and Asher Whitman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
