She was predeceased by : her husband George R. Brown; and her siblings, Sally Graham, William Troy Strahan, James Strahan, Bowen H. Strahan, Lane Strahan and Carl E. Strahan.

She is survived by : her brother Robert Strahan; and her sister-in-law Sadie Scoggins Strahan.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Farrar Funeral Home (312 Smith St, Farmerville, LA 71241). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
