She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Trahan and Nola Marie Fontenot Trahan; her husband Walter Reed; her son Richard "Ricky" Reed; her siblings, Roger Trahan, Norman Trahan and Elma Johnson; and her great grandchild Kaden Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Belinda Guintard (Charles "Chuck), Lisa Cunningham (Mark), Karen Myers (Terry), Kirk Reed (Kayla) and Mark Reed; and her brother Jimmy Trahan. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Johnson & Brown Funeral Home (505 US-90, Iowa, LA 70647). A rosary was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (804 3rd Ave, Fenton, LA 70640).
