With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Andrew Howard Jr. of Ferriday, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2026 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Gardner Howard; his parents, Andrew Howard, Sr. and Alice Moore Howard; his children, Kenson Howard and Alice Howard; and his brothers, Delbert Howard, Abron Wade and Meredith "Kenard" Mencer.
He is survived by: his children, Shawn Griggs, Reginald Allen, Vincent Howard (LaVockie), Travis Howard, Rhonda Gardner (Darrell) and Andrea Howard; his siblings, Elton Wade (April), Verna Mae Batiste and Mariah J. Cooper; and his aunt Audrey Franklin. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
