She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferinand Bill Delaughter and Eunice Graves Cole; her husband Reginald P. Carter, Jr.; and her daughter Phyllis Ann Stephens. She is survived by: her son Phillip "Jerome" Carter (Melissa) of Ferriday, LA.; and her granddaughters, Amber Stephens of Vidalia, LA., Gabrielle Stephens of Ferriday, LA. and Anabelle Stephens of Brandon, MS..
