We bid farewell to Jerry Poole of Ferriday, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 14, 2025 at the age of 80. Jerry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Poole and Ethel Taunton Poole; his wife Margaret Poole; and his siblings, Burl Poole, Murrell Poole, Reginald Poole, Mae Poole and Retta Poole.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Allen Poole (Denise) of Lakeland, TN, Jeffery Lambert Poole (Kim) of Celina, TX and Allison Poole Williamson (Michael) of Rayville, LA; his siblings, James Poole of Texas, Paul Poole (Carolyn) of Ferriday, LA, Alpha Blunt of Tyler, TX and Nelva Moss (Kent) of West Lake, LA; his grandchildren, Tyler Poole, Adam Poole, Payton Poole, Justin Poole, Jesse Poole, Brier Williamson, Barnes Williamson, Molly Poole and Kinley Williamson; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon Poole, Paxton Poole, Beaux Riley Barton and Kolby Kellen Poole.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Young's Funeral Home (609 EE Wallace Boulevard, Ferriday, LA 71334). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
