She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Johnson and Elsie Johnson; her sons, Charles and Richard Johnson; her siblings, Ella Green, Annie Clark, Daisy Tension, Dorothy Johnson, Clarissa Crocket, Monroe Johnson, Jr. and Robert Johnson; her grandsons, Eddie Lee Scott, Jr. and Thomas Martin, Jr.; and her great grandchild Samuel Johnson III.
She is survived by: her children, Harris Johnson, Brenda Johnson of Ferriday, LA, Ella Scott (Eddie) of Ferriday, LA and Patricia Martin of Ferriday, LA; and her close friend Robert Windon. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 12 nieces; five nephews; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St James Baptist Church (140 Skipper Dr, Ferriday, LA 71334). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
